Eligibility Criteria
Those who are seeking admission in M.Tech in Engineering are supposed to have passed B.Tech/B.E or equivalent degree in the allied subject from a recognized university/institution with first class and not less than 60% aggregate percentage. In case of SC/ST, physically challenged candidates need 55% aggregate marks or equivalent is the requirement. However, the selection criteria for admission in the M.Tech course is GATE score.

Selection
The ultimate selection criteria is the aspirant must qualify the GATE paper appropriately in the discipline of their qualifying degree of a GATE paper. Aspirants need to qualify the GATE examination considering all years of study as the criteria for preference. In case of tie, candidate with more age is given the preference. Candidates who are previously selected for admission are examined by the Institute Medical Officer and those who fail to meet the physical fitness tests will not be admitted.
Candidates are provisionally added into the rolls, only when they fulfill all the requirements of college authorities like if he/she submits all the required certificates, in original, is found to be medically fit and pays all the fees and deposits as per the prescribed date.
