Admission to M.Tech programme is based only on the GATE score. For consideration for admission to M Tech programs in various departments / centres candidates with BE / B Tech or equivalent degree or M Sc or equivalent degree must have a valid GATE score from the GATE paper which is corresponding to their branch in qualifying examination (e.g. M Sc in Physics must have a valid GATE score from PH GATE paper).
Candidates with Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control Engineering or Electronics & Instrumentation specialization seeking admission to M Tech program in Instrumentation in the department of Instrumentation should take only IN paper in GATE.
