Hey dude,

What you are saying is actually what happened with me once,
I was new to FIITJEE and my professors were very impress
ed with me and my performance till 3 months.

I won't say that I topped the class but I came 3rd twice in
my class and once 2nd.

My professors said that "I was one of the best students
of my class"

But soon my performance started dipping down and the
reason behind that was not my concentration drop or say
my hardwork.
The reason was I gave the same effort that I was giving
from last 3 months.

And as the difficulty of the topics were increasing , hours
of studying were needed to be increased too.

So when increased the "EFFORT" I started excelling again.

And even my teachers gave me some pinching and discouraging
words but they were not for "getting discouraged and leave
the hope for getting into IIT"
But those words were for you to "WAKE UP FROM YOUR
SLEEP

So now your main aim should be putting more effort than
before and also try getting up in your class"
