I'm surprised that these KOTA guys didn't start these things earlier,,,,,,,,,,Anyways, I thing putting pressure upon a 13yr old 2 prepare for IIT is not right but many parents out there just won't understand,,,,,,,,In the success hungry world of today, we have forgotten the art of nurturing the talents of a child n showing him the right direction,,,,,Every second 13yr old will now wish 2 get into IITs. This will lead 2 suppression of the natural talents of many youngsters,,,,,,Wat I mean 2 say is that I need not be a born IITian. He might be a good artist, actor, singer, footballer, cricketer n just be wasting his time n parents's money in these Coaching Centres.,.,...,.,,.,.,.,

We know, a,b,c,d are in AP

                 =>d,c,b,a are in AP

                 Dividing each of these terms by abcd, we have,

                                                                                                     => their reciprocals are in HP.

                                    Well, I think there is a third term missing in your question dude.

                                  I think this should be the correct sequence.

The total work done on a body(by all external as well as internal forces) is always equal to the change in the body's Kinetic Energy.This is the Work-Energy theorem and you can apply this theorem anywhere in space provided you take into account all the forces.

The respective coordinates of the points are (60,3), (40,-8) and (a,-52). So if they are collinear, then area of the triangle formed by them is              0 sq units.

i.e.Apply the formula for area of a triangle and equate with 0 to get the answer.

Let T(final) be the temperature at thermal equlibrium.

By Principle of Calorimetry,

So if T(final) = (T1+T2)/2, then MS = ms, where M,m are the masses of the bodies and S,s are their respective specific heats, which always may not be the case.

 Let us consider the trigonometric equation:-

sinx = mod cosx

It is being asked to calculate the number of solutions of this equation in the interval (0,4pi).

Now there are two ways to solve this equation.

1)Firstly, considering two graphs y = sinx & y = mod cosx, the number of points in (0,4pi) where these graphs intersect is 4. Hence the number of solutions is 4.

2)We may write the equation as sinx = +-cosx. Dividing LHS and RHS by cosx (Here, cosx can't be 0 as when cosx =0, sinx =1 or -1 which isn't possible as sinx = mod cosx) , we have, tanx = +-1

Now, tanx =+-1 gives 8 solutions in (0,4pi) which contradicts the first method.

Can u point out the flaw in the second method?!!!!!!
