Senior secondary school Examination (10+ 2 System) or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate (those who have appeared for the examination in March / April, 2009 may also apply)
AGE LIMIT: Below 21 yearsas on 1st august 2009 (23 years in case of Sc /ST Candidates)
Total seats” 60 seats each for B.A. L.L.B (Hons) & B.B.A. L.L.B (Hons.)
CATEGORY WISE SEATS: General 78 Scheduled Tribes-14, Scheduled Castes -10, Persons with disabilities -4, Foreign Nationals -4, NRI / NRI Sponsored – 10 Total Seats: 120.

The Application forms are to be sent along with a Demand Draft for Rs.1,500/- (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred Only) for General Candidates and Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One thousand Only) in case of Sc and ST Candidates, drawn in favour of “The Registrar, National Law University, Cuttack”, Payable at Cuttack along with copies of requisiteCaste/ Disability Certificate.
Applicationscomplete in all respects must reach The Registrar, National Law University, Protocol Wing, Orissa High Court, Cuttack- 753 001, Orissa, by post/ courtier on or before 6th June, 2009. Applications received after the last date shall not be entertained. The University will not be responsible for any loss or delay.

Admissions will be strictly on merit through an All India Entrance Examination to be conducted at Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi and Patna.
If sufficient number of applications are notreceived for a centre, the University reserves the right to cancel the said centre and shift the applicants of that centre to another centre.
