With an aim to learn the ropes of entrepreneurship in the college itself, 12 students of Punjab Engineering College (PEC) have got together and decided to organize a mock test 'Sambhav: Making the Possible Easier' for AIEEE aspirants. The test will be conducted in three cities in February.

Satyam Kumar, one of the first-year students of PEC, said, "We were motivated by one of our alumni who gave us the idea of being an entrepreneur from students days. The exercise will help us in improving communication, marketing and managerial skills. Twelve of like-minded students have taken this initiative."

Satyam further said that they have decided to hold the tests at their home towns. Four students are from Patiala, three from Bhatinda, two from Hoshiarpur and remaining three are from Chandigarh.

Continuing the task with their studies the PEC students during the working days popularize their mock test in Chandigarh and at the weekends the students move to other two cities where the test would be held on February 5.

The students have developed unique software that will not only check the OMR sheets on the lines of the actual AIEEE examination but will also give detailed sub-topic wise analysis on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Having gone through the examinations and achieved high ranks, the students are conducting the test with a motive of sharing their experience with the class XI and class XII non-medical students.

Electronics student Abhishek said, "The students never come to know of their weakness as no test in coaching centre gives them a detailed analysis of topic level. We have developed software that will give the candidates, topic-level
feedback and tell them about their weak areas." The detailed results will be posted within two weeks of the test.
