It was a cakewalk for students on the last day of Common Entrance Test (2011). Physics and Chemistry papers saw high turnout on Thursday, with both exams clocking over 98% attendance.

According to experts, the difficult level of both papers was "moderate" and syllabus coverage "balanced". While Chemistry paper was reported to be error-free, professor S Dasharathi of BASE, Bangalore, said version C-2 of Physics paper had some ambiguous questions. Physics exam was taken by 98.44% of the 1.16 lakh enrolled candidates. The turnout for Chemistry paper was 98.33%

The CET which decides admission to medical, dental and engineering courses in government colleges and state quota in private colleges, concluded on Thursday. Although the scheduled date for announcement of key answers is May 4, Karnataka Examinations Authority will publish the keys on its website (www.kea.kar.nic) by Friday.
