The diagonal clipping in Amplitude Demodulation (using envelop detector) can be avoided if RC time-constant of the envelope detector satisfies the following condition, )here W is message bandwidth and w is carrier frequency both in rad/sec)?

The time contant t should be alwasy in between ( 1/w) and ( 1/W) 

[without including ( 1/w) and ( 1/W) ]

The time contant t should be always be less than 1/W So. RC < 1/W
